Staying Refreshed & Revived this winter

Well it feels like winter has been around for a while now and arrived a bit too early if you ask me.  The bitter winds and constant fall in temperature screams two things, an excuse for a new parka jacket and trench coat, only because a girl needs to switch it up; and a new skin care products.  So here are the some Tips & Treatments you can apply to your skin care this winter!
-
For my Make-Up Users
-
I had to start with my make-up sisters because I too am a make-up lover and constant user. There are two crucial products that are essential to our application and removal of make up; a moisturising primer and excellent make-up remover. -
-
Make-up remover: My favourite wipes this winter are the Nivea Refreshing Cleansing Wipes containing Bio Argon Oil and Bio Aloe Vera to support the skin's natural moisture balance; since using this I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin! Don't fancy using wipes? I'd also recommend Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, though a bit less affordable for a cleanser your skin is left feeling squeaky clean, not to mention it lasts a long time! A win win for me.
-
Cleanser: You cannot forget to use the Deep Cleansing Brush at this stage to ensure your skin receives a deep clean. Use with Nivea Daily Essentials Crème Care Cleansing Cream Wash.

Face Moisturiser: Pure Active Sensitive Anti Blemish Face Moisturiser adapted for sensitive skin. This moisturiser is extremely hydrating and lasts for up to 24hrs, perfect for this seasons weather plus it reduces the appearance of spots and marks without drying out skin, what more could you want?

Mask Up!
-
I don’t know about you guys but I cannot function without my masks! Whether you want to deep cleanse, detox, replenish or give your skin that amazing glow, masks do it all! My personal fave and recommendation for cleansing deep into the pores to leave the skin looking glowing and clarified would have to be L'Oréal Paris Pure Clay Detox Face.
-
For those with dry skin sensitive skin, I’d recommend The Garnier Moisture Bomb Chamomile Hydrating Face Sheet Mask, thank me later your skin is guaranteed to feel more hydrated and smoother.  If you want a mask where you can literally feel the difference then you definitely need the Bubble Charcoal Face Sheet Mask guaranteed to  bubble and foam, whilst diving deep into the skin’s pores eliminating
impurities.

The little things that go a long away

Never assume it’s just the face that needs that extra TLC in winter, there are crucial areas of the body that should not be missed out, but don’t worry I’m here to provide you with all the friendly reminders you need to get you through winter.

First things first, no one wants crackling lips so stock up on the Lip balms, there is no excuse to leave the house without one. The Vitamin E Lip Care, one of Body Shop’s best sellers is a good shout. If you want a cute pink tone then there is Born Lippy Pot Lip Balm in Raspberry it’s equally moisturising and gives your lip colour a nice tint.  Last but not least, I cannot forget the classic and beloved Vaseline family, my personal favourite is Vaseline Coco Butter, it has never failed me and very inexpensive.

Though this season brings out all the knee-high boots, ankle boots, stylish new trainers, don’t forget the weekends may require sandal heels, backless heels or peep-toe boots so it’s a major key that the back of your foot stays moisturised. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Heel Repair Stick is specially formulated to soften and smooth dry, cracked or callused heels and feet. Not a fan of the stick texture and prefer a lighter moisturiser then give the CCS Foot Cream a try.

Skin changes throughout the seasons, so do not be afraid to change your skincare routine if you find your skin is less vibrant during winter. The cold weather is known to take its toll on our skin, to keep this at bay I’d definitely recommend a good moisturiser, facial cleanser and hydrating face mask to keep your skin looking great throughout!
